Putnam County has long been a place where faith, family, hard work and community are more than words. They are a way of life.

Our strength as a Republican Party comes from those same values - the values that have shaped Putnam County for generations and continue to make our communities exceptional places to live, work, raise a family and pursue opportunity.

Our Putnam County Heritage

Our story is rooted in the farms, villages, churches, businesses and families that built Putnam County.

Generations before us understood that building a better life required hard work, determination, faith, personal responsibility and a willingness to help your neighbor. They worked the land, built businesses, raised families, served their communities and defended their country.

They valued their independence. They believed in keeping their word. They understood that strong communities aren't created by government—they are built by people willing to take responsibility, serve others and work together.

Those values have been handed down from one generation to the next. They remain the values of Putnam County today - and the values of the Putnam County Republican Party.

We work to identify, support and elect Republican leaders who understand the people they serve and who will protect the principles that have made Putnam County strong. We believe government works best when decisions are made as close as possible to the people affected by them.

We also believe the future belongs to the next generation. Our responsibility is to preserve the freedom, opportunity and strong communities we inherited—and leave them even stronger for those who follow us.
